“I like to believe love doesn’t need to have that happy ever after aspect in order to be true and profound.
Why can’t I kill off the main character once they’ve found love? Why does their story have to have a happy ending? Not everyone in this world is that lucky.
I find there is something romantic about a sad macabre love story that ends in death while the love is still new.
Besides, in my line of work who says love has to end after death any way?”
This is what I write. It’s not your average love story, it’s not a bit of conflict only to find true love in the end. I focus on the constant struggle to hold onto that love once it’s found no matter what occurs.
If you think you can handle that, pull up a chair and read on.
