Picking up from my last six here is six more from my sci-fi WIP that I am writing with my husband.
“Daddy, please don’t do this,” the young girl pleaded.
The man walked into the light, his black eyes shimmering under the street lamp. He focused in on his daughter the same way Aubree’s grandmother looked at her.
Frozen in fear, Aubree stood and watched as the man moved in closer. He did nothing to his daughter, he simply took her hand in his. The man then rolled up his sleeve to reveal the same strange iconic tattoo as her grandmother, father and Aubree bore on their arms.
Hope you enjoyed the six this week!
