I have a ton of things to do and it seems less time to do them in!
The virus I had recently didn’t help to keep me motivated at all either … still I have finished some things and hope to get some reviews posted to the blog as soon as I can!
I’ve gotten into an every day post rhythm and hope to keep it up. As it is my break down for each day is as follows:
Sunday: Six Sentence Sunday
Monday: Motivational Monday
Tuesday: Tell Tale Thursday Results
Wednesday: Reviews or Random Posts
Friday: Weekly Summary
Saturday: More Reviews and Random Posts
Basically if you miss any other day you’ll want to check in on Friday when I will be going over my week with you! However, I try to have giveaways and post other book deals throughout the week which may only be available on that day so you will want to keep checking back!
Six Sentence Sunday has been going very well for me. I’ve met some great ladies, received feed back and in general just love it! I will be continuing with that next week and will be showcasing my current WIP next week as well!
Motivational Monday is something new on my blog. Basically I want to give my reader something that could inspire new plot lines or perhaps help in the editing to realize if their characters and story are meeting their full potential. Of course this isn’t just for my readers but also for myself. I’ve been looking into personal development sites and trying new things in my own life that have helped my own writing style. So whether this will help your novel or you personally, I know I enjoy Mondays!nt WIP, untitled.
Tell Tale Results will be interesting for me. I created it as a way to test and build on my own creativity, though I do hope others will participate, it isn’t necessary. Basically, every Thursday I’ll choose a picture, mostly random though sometimes I just really like the image and it will be the prompt for the next few days. Then I will write a short snippet. It will not be edited, it will be raw without revisions and hopefully this will help me grow as a writer. It may also inspire new ideas for future novels!
Random posts and Reviews will be scattered throughout my week. I like to keep a couple days open just in case. This week I decided to post a list of 25 things that inspire my writing, and myself in general. I shared a Free Day Event on Wednesday and hope to continue giving my readers a chance to find new and free books. Of course I also have my winners posted, and a big thank you goes out to all of my readers for supporting my blog.
As those who follow my blog know I have been working on a Book in a Month.
Since I’ve been finding it so hard to work with so many WIP’s at once I’ve picked one and am dedicated to completing it in a Month. You can see some excerpts of the book in my SSS posts, as well as some character information posted. As of right now you can read about Strype, the main character in the novel who has lost his memory and must find the truth about who he is.
Posts of Alana and Sabrae will be coming shortly as well as a special guest post from my husband who I am working on the novel with. We’ll see just how much he enjoys working with his lovely wife. *wink*
As it is I have chapter one typed up and part of chapter two. Needless to say I’m a little freaked out about that. My deadline is the 18th of May which is only 13 days away! Still we’ve been changing things like crazy … BUT it has improved the story. As it is I will be typing up the rest without any revisions until the 18th. I’ve decided no more revisions! I need to complete that first draft by the 18th and then I can set myself another schedule for re-writes, editing, and revisions.
Whew. It’s been a rough week!
