Wow, ten weeks of WeWriWa! I can’t believe it’s been so long. For today I’ve done my 8 sentences and as a bonus I threw in two more at the end just for the special day 😉
Again another excerpt from my current WIP, A Hint of Red – check out past excerpts below:
This is a bit of a skip, we move onto the next day and Arianna is sitting at a cafe having a cup of coffee when Ted shows up.
“Normally I would prefer breakfast at the end of a date but for you miss Arianna I think I could make an exception.” Ted smiled down on her as he spoke.
Looking up at him Arianna’s breath caught in her throat. Framed by the sun Ted reminded her of an angel, though his grin suggested he shared more in common with a devil.
“I already ate.” She said, opening her novel and trying hard to not remove her eyes from his body.
Ted tilted his head, “Are you reading Jane Austen?” He asked.
And as promised … two extra lines to celebrate my 10th WEWRIWA! This doesn’t follow this scene it jumps ahead to Arianna’s grandmother who after years of dealing with her own demons is suffering from some mental health issues.
You’ve sent out the beacon when I told you no, and now you won’t just see him. You’ll see them all, and worse, they will see you.
